CodePedia - - A Developer blog - Business Idea
Coders
Wiki.... or CodePedia
inception of the idea
Stackoverflow - when a user asks a question someone
will reply. So someone has to ask and someone has to answer. Need more user
base for such. Bit tough.
Why cant we have site
where users can save their solutions to some of the problems they found
themselves while they are doing. Is it necessary that someone has to ask and
then only share their knowledge with them?
They can save/share their code snippets so that they ll have track of their learning
and others also can get help from that.
Concept:
The Coders/Users save
their code snippets and solutions to the problems that they found while they
are doing their work/practice/study. No one will ask they save them selved. its
like noting down in a notebook as a learning.
it will be available
to all the like in stackoverflow.
All can
see->read-> use it.
If they want to share
some code or solutions they will also create an account and share. It will be
like a blogger for them.
I thought of some FAQ,
they indeed pain points also....
why someone will
share?
when we got a good
solution which worked well for us, people tend to share it(sometimes).
It will be like a
knowledge base for their own learning's.
If we can create some
monetary benefit for their sharing it will attract more and tend to share more.
(ll discuss this later in the mail)
So on a whole it will
be like a Code Pedia.
I have googled a
little but didnt found a one in my thoughts/views.
How the Site and UI in
should be (in my view)
A simple, hassle free,
easy to use.
Should have very few
input fields.
Title, Description,
and code. (like in mail mail id, subject and mail body - simple)
Remaining like
language etc meta data should be auto populated from the code user posted.
and support for other
stuff like asking a question , reading codes should be there.
UI and asking a
question , reading codes etc idea ported from the above site.these are
additional things only. Major is code sharing only.
Non-functional
requirement- code snippets should be easy to read and text should.
