Now a day’s Online Shopping is at its apex point.
Everyone buying almost all the things online and we know how flipkart has grown a big company within a short span.
Who is suffering a great loss are the local vendors. Almost all sectors facing this issue because of online shopping/deals.
Let’s discuss the Pros & Cons of online shopping:
Pros:
  • ·         Attractive, cheaper rates.
  • ·         Availability of new brands at the earliest.
  • ·         Increasing netizens
  • ·         More Deals, Daily offers

Cons:
  • ·         Can’t see or get the live shopping experience.
  • ·         Can’t believe and don’t know the product will be till I receive the goods.
  • ·         Shipment delays
  • ·         No bargaining :P :P

If we address the cons of it, we will come to a business idea.

  • ·         Search should be like mysmartprice, users should be able to compare prices.
  • ·         The user can order online and we will send the details to vendor.
  • ·         The vendor can send the goods to the customer since it’s within the city.
  • ·         Or else like ekart some service for tier-2 helps. (secondary, it addresses shipment delays)
  • ·         Publish details such as deals in their shop, send offers etc will be part of it.
  •       It’s a mix of zomato, savemoneyindia, mysmartprice of course justdail.
  •             Since all netizens as of now are majorly from metro’s not much people of tier 2 will look into the internet to know the local offers, till ours get popular.
  •              But as the internet usage is going up and because of increasing smart phone use, tire 2 cities will also use net for such in nearest future.
  •             We should cover Tier 1, 2 cities mainly.
  •             We will be collecting how many users visited a shop, searched for which product, looked for what products, all such analysis data and provide the local vendors.
  •             Pricing policy like, initially it will be free but as we increase and as popularity grows we will be charging per 100 visits basis – pricing like justdail or per analysis data we will be giving them basis - pricing on this like DTH packs.
  •              As internet hardly hitting the local sales, local vendors will also be interested to register with us if we start ASAP.
  •              Local shipping is another business opportunity we can look at, if the idea becomes successful.
